Email Protocols / Gmail rewrites emails when sending through the service
« on: January 31, 2018, 12:50:36 PM »
using the Email object I get the mime text.
I then use OAuth2, AuthGoogle, JsonObject, Socket, and Rest to send that mime through the gmailapi for sending email.
(Socket is just being used to see things with Fiddler)

The text/plain is completely rewritten, and the boundaries are changed. The message-id's remain the same.

What I see in Sent of the gmail account is:
Message-Id: <>
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="------------050101000705090601050400"

Content-Type: text/plain

Content-Type: text/html

What I see in the Inbox of the two recipients is:
Message-ID: <>
Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="f403045c3bb45327c00564159cd4"

Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8"

Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8"

This is more of an FYI post. I don't feel like there is anything that can be done.

My testing did not have that. It may have been added after I decided to just use the EventHandler(). Or I never saw it.
I'll keep that in mind for the future.
Currently I don't have a need to use the threads that way, but might before I'm finished with VFP.

Thank you,

VFP has trouble with threaded objects. I never got the ASYNC methods to work reliably.

We use EVENTHANDLER() to connect the Chilkat object to a VFP object that Implements the interface _IChilkatZipEvents to update the UI. We only use the _IChilkatZipEvents_PercentDone procedure in the class.

HTTP verb relates to GET PUT POST etc...
The SOAP services I have worked with always required a POST.

Are you using a POST request?

I use a different language, but still use the ActiveX control.
I have not had any user report this behavior.
Are you sure the bLaskvitto variable is actually false when it gets to this line of code?
