Clearing an E-mail

i use Dataflex, but as there is no such group I post this question here.

A customer complained about getting read receipts from mails when they haven't asked for that. I is it possible that the request of a read receipt comes from the previous mail that was sent?

Doesn't the statements

    Get Create (RefClass(cComChilkatMailMan)) to hoMailman
    If (not(IsComObjectCreated(hoMailman))) Begin
        Send CreateComObject of hoMailman

create a new empty mail? The receipt requests are added by the startemnents

    Send ComAddHeaderField of hoEmail "Return-Receipt-To" sFrom
    If bLaskvitto Send ComAddHeaderField2 of hoEmail "Disposition-Notification-To"  sFrom

I use a different language, but still use the ActiveX control.
I have not had any user report this behavior.
Are you sure the bLaskvitto variable is actually false when it gets to this line of code?
